Renewing futurice.com

Futurice is a European digital transformation consultancy that helps companies innovate and thrive in the digital age. With a design update we hoped to bring Futurice.com to the modern design standard with good accessibility scores, while aligning their evolving business strategy and showcase.

1. Design audit

  • We began by collecting and organizing all existing pages by content, functionality, and design.
  • At the time, the website was a patchwork of multiple design versions — some pages several iterations behind others.
  • By mapping everything out, we were able to identify content that served the same purpose but looked and behaved inconsistently across the product.

2. Define & Build

  • With patterns and content mapped out, we moved into shaping the new information architecture.
  • From there, we redesigned, refined, and created new components. Throughout, I worked closely with the brand identity team to ensure the design stayed consistent and met accessibility standards.

3. Finalizing

  • Once the brand team completed their identity project, they delivered a set of components, many shaped by the inputs we had shared with them along the way.
  • From there, we refined and adapted those components to better fit the needs of the website.
  • The new brand identity was implemented after being carefully reviewed and tested to ensure it met accessibility standards.
